White River Rural Health Center’s Case Management Department is centered on assisting our patients to meet their medical and financial needs. Our Case Managers can assist you through two different programs. The first program is the Medication Assistance Program better known as MAP. MAP was developed to assist our patients to receive maintenance medications that they may not otherwise be able to afford. In partnership with many pharmaceutical companies, White River Rural Health Center has assisted nearly 20,000 people to receive medications.
To qualify for this program, you must meet the following criteria:
- US Citizen or a legal resident
- Established White River Rural Health Center patient
- Meet household income guidelines
- Have no prescription insurance
If you need assistance with your maintenance medications, please contact a White River Rural Health Center Case Manager at 870-347-1230.
In addition to MAP, White River Rural Health Center has five full-time Medicaid Outstation Program Case Managers. The Medicaid Outstation Program was implemented in 1999 to guide our patients through the Arkansas Medicaid Process. Our Case Managers can help if you have questions with the following:
- Applying for Medicaid
- Applying for Social Security
- Medicare Advantage Plans
- Medicare Part D
- Low Income Subsidy
- Community Resources
If you need assistance in the above areas, please ask to speak with a Case Manager at your local White River Rural Health Center.
